Linux is a computer operating system assembled under the model of free and open source software. Internet security is a branch of computer security specifically related to the Internet, often involving browser security but also network security on a more general level as it applies to other applications or operating systems on a whole. Its objective is to establish rules and measures to use against attacks over the Internet. The Internet represents an insecure channel for exchanging information leading to a high risk of intrusion or fraud, such as phishing. Different methods have been used to protect the transfer of data, including encryption. Linux is an open source operating system and most of the internet security was made by Linus Torvalds. This operating system helps not only the business but also the customer and business impact. There are lots of features in this operating system. One of its features you have the option to modify the source code to create a new updated and modified Linux operating system and application. When it comes to the software, Linux is more light weight and has a good graphical user interface. Most computers come with an operating system already installed, so you're probably used to Windows or Mac OS. But that doesn't mean they're the best choice for you. What if you could have the best of both worlds? A super-secure, well-designed operating system that's also super-fast and compatible with everything you can. When it comes to the internet security, Linux is more preferable than the other operating system. Why? Because mostly viruses are of exe files which are executable in windows operating system but in Linux exe file has no use. And in Linux different format is used for executable file. it also runs only in the restricted mode and only required authorities are gives to virus. There are lots of advantages when using Linux operating system like the cost, security choice and software. It helps the administrators to make the network more efficient and reliable when it comes in managing a small or big internet network. Linux operating system will provide a high availability and will utilize a high end internet security in this generation.
